When the Impossible Happens
David Hume famously argued that miracles are impossible because they violate the laws of nature. But if God created nature, He is not bound by it, just as an author is not bound by the timeline of his novel. He can write himself into the story.
The objection that a miracle violates the laws of nature is old, respectable, and answerable, and answering it well takes more than one analogy about an author and his novel. At Lourdes, France, out of 7,000+ claimed cures, the Church has only recognized 70 as miraculous. Why? Because they demand rigorous medical evidence: the cure must be instantaneous, complete, and lasting, with no medical explanation. Atheist doctors on the medical bureau often certify these cures as "unexplainable."
Seventy approvals out of more than seven thousand claims at Lourdes is a record of refusal, and that same caution runs through how the Church reads Scripture. Catholic/Christian Pro carries in-depth Bible studies on the Gospel miracles and on the Eucharist, audio devotionals, guided prayers, worship playlists and offline access, for $49 paid once, lifetime access, no subscription, with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Pro is study material and audio, and no purchase changes your standing before God. Begin this week.

Scientific analysis revealed verified human heart tissue (myocardium) from the left ventricle, type AB blood (same as the Shroud of Turin), and white blood cells that indicated the heart was alive at the moment the sample was taken.
Lanciano and Buenos Aires are worth reading about at length. The Mass in your own parish is free, weekly, and closer to hand, and Catholic teaching holds that the same Christ is present in it. For the study that fills that out, Catholic/Christian Pro has in-depth Bible studies on the Eucharist and the Gospel miracles, audio devotionals, guided prayers, worship playlists, offline access and early access to new studies, for $49 paid once, lifetime access, no subscription.
